My dear mommy.
Hi there. I am so sorry that I haven't posted in sooooooooooo long. It's just been so busy!!!! It seems that lately I am only posting for sad occasions and I really apologize for this.
Today is 5 years that my beautiful mommy passed away. There aren't enough words to express how empty my heart feels. My mommy was my best friend and I miss her so so so very much. There are so many times during the day when I want to go to the phone and pick it up and call her. I feel like there has been so many times that I really needed to talk to her.
I know that my mommy is with me everyday watching over all of us and I feel my mommy with me everyday but I still miss her so much.
Rest peacefully mommy. You are so dearly missed. My heart aches for you and you are forever in my heart.
I love you my beautiful mommy.
Love Cindy.

7 years tomorrow.
Tomorrow marks seven years that our dear Ryan has passed away. No words can describe the pain that never goes away. The day May 3 is filled with horrible pain and anguish. I relive that phone call over and over in my head. I relive that feeling that my life had just stopped, that my life had just ended.
I have so many beautiful memories of my Ryan but on May 3 all I can think about is that dreadful day and that dreadful phone call and all that followed.
May 3 changed all of our lives forever.
The memory of Ryan will stay alive forever because he is with me every single day.
I love you and miss you my beautiful baby Ryan.
Always and forever in your mommy's heart.
Love mommy.

Ryan.
Last night at sundown marked the beginning of Ryan's Yahrzheit for the 7th Year. It is always a very sad time in all of our lives. Unfortunately it doesn't get easier every year. Instead it becomes much more difficult. With each passing year we all miss Ryan more and more. My heart feels empty without my beautiful son, my beautiful Ryan. A mother's love never dies. How can it? How can you give birth to a child and watch it grow up into a beautiful young man and then in a spilt second they are gone? It's impossible to stop loving your child. Always in my heart now and forever you will be Ryan.
The flickering flame of the Yahrzeit candle helps to remind us of the departed soul of our loved one and of the precious fragility of our life and the lives of our loved ones, life that must be embraced and cherished at all times.
I love you with all my heart my beautiful son Ryan. Love mommy. xox

Family Outing!!!!
Hey guys! I hope that you all had a great weekend! We had a great one for sure!
Yesterday we decided to attend a spring training baseball game and watch our Arizona Diamondbacks play the Oakland A's Athletics. It was going to be a great family outing! The days leading up to yesterday were absolutely gorgeous weather with highs reaching 85 F. There was a chance of rain for yesterday but after living here now in Arizona for 20 years a chance of rain really didn't mean anything to us here. We never got rain! A chance of rain meant we weren't going to have rain. So we bought our tickets, great seats, 6 rows from the field and planned on having a great Sunday afternoon. Sunday morning we woke up to rain and dark clouds. I checked the website for the Arizona Diamondbacks and it said the game was still on as scheduled. The rain actually stopped and the sun actually came out! YEAH, we were going to the game! We arrived at the stadium and sat down to a few sprinkles. No big deal. The sprinkles became a little bit more but we sat through it and it actually cleared again and the sun came out with bright blue skies. It was going to be a glorious day at the ball park. Well that didn't last very long. The next thing that happened was that I saw a flash of lightning and two seconds later the loudest thunder that I had ever heard! The entire stadium screamed! Then the rain came pouring down. Torrential rain! And wouldn't you know it a few minutes later huge hail starting dropping on all of us. The entire baseball field was covered in hail! Crazy weather! This doesn't happen in Arizona! Or does it! We all looked at each other and said okay it's time to go. We never laughed so hard! It was just crazy weather! Of course everybody else in the stadium had the same idea. Being down right near the field it took forever to get to some covered shelter. It was a mob scene. People were everywhere. We stood around trying to decide what to do. We were all so drenched and it was pouring so badly outside that we decided to leave. We figured either the game would be called or it would take too long if it they did start to play again. We were so wet and cold. The temperature had gone back down to the 40s. The next big issue was getting to our car in this torrential downpour. We weren't the only ones leaving either. So it was another mob scene trying to get out of the stadium. By the time we reached the car we were so drenched! We got in the car and set the temperature to 84 F and put the fan on high. We just couldn't warm up. We all couldn't wait to get home and change into warm dry clothes. And that's exactly what we did when we got home. We never laughed so hard all day. So our family outing to watch a spring training baseball game ended very quickly BUT we all had a great time! We never laughed so hard and the moral of the story is that when you are with family you can have the greatest time no matter what you end up doing!!!!
